what's new?
Hey there! Below are my jaunts and encounters around the countryside, bumping into sheepsters, beautiful bovines and all manner of stunning wildlife - you'll find lots more daily images on Social Media too. All available for prints.
September 2023 - Arran - Our fabulous week away on this beautiful Island.
We are rather smitten with Arran.
We are rather smitten with Arran.
Arran Wildlife - We stayed in Corrie and were fortunate to have our own little gang of Red Squirrels that kept visiting - bit camera shy though the rascals! We did however do an early jaunt upto Lochranza and finally managed to see the red deer.
On our way back from Lochranza, who did we spot - only the seals, just out of Pirnmill and Machrie. The speckled one was a little bit of a show-off I think.
Arran Landscapes - Too many stunning places to see and spend more time in - I do keep being drawn to Kildonan, I love Ailsa Craig and Pladda Lighthouse.

October 2022 - "Heading Home" I found this little beauty on my phone from a few months ago, I like the atmospheric feel to it.
September 2022 - The deer are back? Looks like a little family. I just stood still, daring not move, on the top of a hill and had the joy of watching them for about an hour. Beautiful.
August 2022 - Sunset City is back - with the obligatory sheep in there of course.
A lovely golden Blencathra too.
A lovely golden Blencathra too.

December 2021 - Well, this is the month we should be having snow, although I'm not sure how impressed Ewenise and the cows are with all this white stuff.
November 2021 - That time of year for our annual jaunt up to Martindale for the deer rut. Never disappoints, always live in hope of a cracking photo to be fair this year's are better than previous ones, they are miles away.

May 2020 - Remember Ewenise - our friend's pet lamb from last year's lambing. Well, she's acquired three new friends - three new pet lambs from this year. Should be good practice for her to have her own next year.
